Blessing
of the Water Ways Ceremony
in Laytonville CA
Sept.
23, 2010
The
Blessing of the Water Ways
Ceremony is an ancient tradition that has been presented
to Grandmother Tonya Whitedeer, Clan Mother of the Bear
Clan of Medicine Creek Métis in Laytonville California.
It comes from our ancestors, through the Net of Light, to
the Sisterhood of Planetary Water RItes by way of Tonya's
service and dedication to many Beloved Grandmothers from
across the veil.
I
have been honored by Grandmother Tonya with an invitation
to facilitate this circle and ceremonial blessing.
We will be gathering in Laytonville on Wednesday & Thursday,
during the Autumnal Equinox and Full Moon.

The
Sisterhood of the Planetary Water Rites Invite You
To be present for the Bringing Forth of the
Ancient Ceremony of the Water Ways
This
ceremony happens to be on a Full Moon which will make it all that
much more powerful. Men are also invited to attend so that there
will be a complete balance as we welcome all of our Guardians, Grandfathers
and Grandmothers and Ancient Ones into our Sacred Circle.
All who attend and wish to be a Keeper of the Ceremony of the Water
Ways will be initiated through vows of honor. This will be explained
at the introduction period before the Ceremony begins.
If you have an offering of water for our blessing bowl make sure
it is clean and pure. Other waters must be kept in labeled
jars but will be set around the altar for blessing. You may
bring your own items to be placed around the altar for blessings
and anything else that you would like to bring life and beauty to
this Sacred Space.
It would be a help if you brought your own water or what you wish
to drink and a food item to share with all at the feast after the
Ceremony.
It
is an honor to be able to introduce this Ceremony for the first
time to those that will keep the intentions brought forth from the
Grandmothers that came through the Net of Light to offer this to
us. The Grandmothers wish for us to be the ones because we have
shown our Spirits to be of pure dedication.
Please
wear a long skirt and shirt that covers the arms. Soft shoes or
moccasins are being asked by the Grandmothers for our attire during
the Ceremony. We need as much sage, cedar and tobacco that
we can get as there will be much needed to complete the ceremony
as it has been instructed; therefore we asked that if you can spare
one or several of these sacred herbs it will surely by welcomed.
There
are no fees for ceremony; however, we do have expenses. There are
costs for the extra electricity and cleaning of the Porta Potties,
as long as these expenses are covered through the kindness and generosity
of your donations, this will cover all that will be needed.
Overnight
accommodations must be secured at least a week in advance. Please
let me know RSVP as soon as possible so we can make ready the areas
for camping and food preparation. E-mail.. whitebuffalowoman@msn.com
or call 707-984-7297
Hope to see you all there... The Grandmothers are also eager
to see you!
Many Blessings, All Ways, Grandmother T. Whitedeer

Dear
Brothers and Sisters,
Talking
circle is a time honored ceremony to speak from our
hearts while being heard and received by others, to brighten
the essence of respect, compassion, tolerance and understanding
in our personal and communal experience.
July 25 is the full moon in Aquarius, and a Day out of
Time from the Mayan calendar. The Day Out of Time is
the 365th day of the year of the Thirteen Moon Calendar.
This harmonic timing standard measures the year in thirteen
even months of 28 days each, a perpetual calendar of 52
perfect weeks, making a total of 364 days. The 365th day,
the Day Out of Time' is no day of the week or month at all,
but truly a Day Out of Time. For this reason, this special
day is observed as the day to cancel debts, to pardon and
forgive, and to celebrate life through art and culture.
Astrologically, we are supported in blending ancient wisdom
and modern or futuristic drive for change so harmony is
achieved, involving friendships, groups or group consciousness.
We may continue to release pre-conceived ideas or expectations
in favor of what truly serves our highest good and evolution.
We will honor the tradition of smudging with sacred sage,
acknowledging the presence of our ancestors, and the divine
energies of creation.
Please join us as we celebrate this precious time on earth.
You are welcome to bring a friend and share this email with
others who may be interested. Talking Circle will
be followed by PotLuck Dessert! Bring your favorite
one only if you are willing to share!

What
others have to say about our Women's Full Moon Water Ceremony
"During
the Women's Full Moon Water Ceremony, I felt as though I had
stepped back in time and space to a place I had known many
moons ago. I felt it deeply in my womb and it came forth as
power and beauty. Susan's humble yet powerful presence facilitated
our healing ceremony with the grace and vitality that only
a Wise Woman can own. I look forward to another ceremony soon!
"
Nature Lindsay
"I
attended a Women’s Full Moon Water Ceremony with Susan
last month and was deeply moved by her love/dedication to
this very sacred ritual. By the light of her divine guidance,
I was touched in so many ways throughout the course of this
very special evening. For the first time in my life, I felt
the ancient lineage of women who have come before all of
us. I am forever changed. Susan’s ability to hold
space is as refined as the highest of priestesses, and she
does this with the utmost dignity and grace. Whether I am
sipping her medicinal teas, receiving gemstone therapy,
or listening to her insightful guidance, I know I am always
in the presence of a magnificent healer. I am truly grateful
for the work Susan is contributing to the planet at this
time."
In love and gratitude,
Julie Weinberg
"Susan
has a remarkable ability to hold sacred space. As a Keeper
of the Water Ceremonies, I have witnessed her ability to
establish a connection with the Divine that allows those
present to safely expand into greater love and dive deeply
into the mystery of life. You may find yourself healing
spontaneously simply because you are present in the sacredness
she carries within herself and so generously shares with
others. If you have an opportunity to experience a
ceremony she is offering, avail yourself of the opportunity.
Your life will be touched forever in a moving and powerful
way." Rev. Misa Hopkins, Spiritual
Director, New Dream Foundation
"Susan's
beautiful leadership of the Women's Water Bowl ceremony
creates a sacred, all-inclusive space. I was struck by her
reverence for the ceremony and deep respect for all participants.
Susan's graceful facilitation results in a co-created ceremony
with all present ... a wonderful reflection of her femininity
and grace."

Life Coach
About
the Women's Full Moon Water Ceremony
The
ceremony has been entrusted to Rev. Misa Hopkins of the
New
Dream Foundation. An ancient ceremonial bowl has
been passed on to Misa along with spiritual guidance from
our beloved ceremonial Grandmothers. Misa listened
in response to this gift and is sharing this beautiful,
graceful, and powerful healing ceremony with women throughout
the world.
